Structural Movement Solutions Ltd was originally conceived to deliver a repair system for buildings suffering from subsidence, primarily for use within the insurance industry. As a result of this work, and as our business naturally grew into flood and fire repairs, we found we had a need to replace doors, windows, conservatories, and other structural elements that had been affected by these events.

As this arm of the business was subcontracted to established companies, we were subject to time scales and delays of suppliers and fitters of these services. We felt that we could better control the supply of these products to give our policy holders and customers a much smoother experience – and so, SMS uPVC was born.
